ColorSave SpectroMetric™ is a patented in-line spectrometric masterbatch feeder, that combines the color dosing and quality control function into one product. It is designed to detect minor color deviation (ΔE) of the end product relative to the standard, approved color, and automatically optimizes the dosing amount of the masterbatch to prevent under and over-dosing.
ColorSave SpectroMetric™ combines a differential photo-spectrometer that integrates within the production line, and a gravimetric screw feeder with a stepper motor on the machine’s throat.
ColorSave SpectroMetric™ is a PLC based system, and equipped with 7″ color touch screen for easy monitoring and control. The PLC performs sophisticated algorithms, and interfaces with advanced optic components. The optic card is made by Hamamatsu Japan.
ColorSave SpectroMetric™ is equipped with integrated probe for part measurement. The probe has 9 mm measured area diameter.
Thanks to the self-calibration that ColorSave SpectroMetric™ performs using the ambient background and a white reference, ColorSave SpectroMetric™ can filter interferences and detect small color deviations.
