We are thrilled to unveil the next generation of our gravimetric feeders. Meet ColorSave 1000X, the latest evolution of our flagship product, setting a new standard for operational efficiency and user convenience on the production floor.

With the new X model, we didn’t settle for mere software updates. Instead, we re-imagined the design, with varied updates solving one of today’s biggest manufacturing challenges: minimizing material changeover time and simplifying maintenance.

Thorough Cleaning in Just 20 Seconds: The SmartClean Technology

One of the standout innovations in ColorSave 1000X is our upgraded self-cleaning system. The enhanced SmartClean technology allows you to complete the cleaning process of the weighing chamber in just 20 seconds – with a single press of a button on the touchscreen.

Once activated, a pneumatic door at the bottom of the device opens to empty masterbatch, while our Venturi loader rapidly vacuums the material from the hopper. Simultaneously, the feed screw rotates in reverse to guide material toward the outlet, while an air nozzle is positioned on the throat, opposite the feeder, delivering a focused jet of air directly towards the screw

In this new model, we have added additional compressed air nozzles in the upper parts of the weigh hopper, efficiently expelling fines and dusty colorant toward the end of the cleaning process.

For production managers, the impact is dramatic: fast and smooth color changeovers, reduced machine downtime, and minimized risk of cross-contamination.

Advanced Ergonomics and User Experience

We listened closely to the needs of our customers and significantly upgraded both the physical and digital interfaces of our system:

  • Advanced PLC and Touchscreen: The system is equipped with a cutting-edge PLC controller and a vibrant 7-inch color touchscreen (upgraded from 4.3 inches). Like our previous models, the graphic interface allows for intuitive control, quick setups, and clear, easy-to-read real-time data.
  • Easy Access Hopper: The 1000X model features a new design with a hinged lid on the external hopper, streamlining maintenance. A built-in piston slows the door’s movement, preventing shocks to the device when opening or closing the hopper. This mechanism allows for easy opening, as well as tilting of the hopper, significantly simplifying access for calibration and routine maintenance without unnecessary physical effort.

Internal Weighing Hopper for Maximum Precision

Alongside these innovations, the ColorSave 1000X preserves the core technology that made its predecessors a success. At the heart of the system remains our unique patent: an internal weighing hopper that is completely isolated from the mechanical shocks and vibrations of injection molding machines and extruders.

This ensures maximum dosing accuracy even under harsh working conditions, resulting in significant raw material savings by preventing overdosing and ensuring perfect color uniformity in the final product. The system continues to provide full control and automatic regulation of the dosing rate, ensuring high repeatability in production.
