We haven’t stopped updating the ColorSave 1000 gravimetric feeder. The latest update includes a QR code displayed on the feeder control screen in case of a malfunction or an alert. Scanning the code when it appears will open a dedicated page with information about how to handle the problem correctly.
This feature enables maintenance personnel and even machine operators to immediately address the problem, instead of wasting valuable time trying to understand the nature of the malfunction. You don’t have to stop production. Don’t have to wait for service! Don’t have to open the instruction manual or an online manual to try to find the relevant information in the right place.
The common alerts displayed by the feeder through the QR code, and which can also help handle them include: not enough raw material (masterbatch), over-dosing, etc.
